Historical aspects of the curriculum develop our children’s curiosity and understanding about the past and its influences on life today. Our children are taught how to find out about the past on the basis of surviving evidence. They learn that this evidence is often incomplete and is open to interpretation. Our history scheme involves each year group studying a different period of British history and we also learn about Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece.
